An in home consultation does not replace the need for the patient to keep their regularly scheduled visits with their eye/retina specialist.

Southwest Low Vision takes the time needed to evaluate, assess and recommend the magnification devices and training needed for each person's success. Typically, hand-held magnifiers/stand magnifiers or reading machines are selected. Normally, one hour is the length of time needed for an appointment.

See the list of prices below for services offered. (These fees are for consultation only. Any equipment purchase, such as magnifiers or CCTV's will also be charged. Applicable taxes and shipping fees to items purchased are also charged. Cash, checks or credit cards accepted. Receipts are given.)

$25 to $65 per hour consultation fee may be waived with purchase. No fees are charged to show CCTV equipment
   
Outside of Tucson area:  
In home consultation fee (same as above)

$125.00 1st hour, $65 each additional hour.
+ travel time

For distances greater than 2 hours, fees may have to be adjusted.
