Jordy enables people with low vision to see objects at a distance, up close and at any range in between. This battery operated system can be worn like a pair of glasses or used as a Desktop video magnifier when placed on its docking stand.

Now with the push of a button, you can watch your favorite television programs, see the faces of relatives, read your favorite book, write a check, go to sporting events and movies and even enjoy hobbies. The possibilities are endless.

Using the Jordy for seeing distant objects is made easy with the features of automatic focus, high contrast, wide field of view, and automatic light level adjustment. All you have to do is turn the 15-position control knob and Jordy quickly zooms in on the target. If you want to see even more details, continue to click the size control knob and Jordy keeps doing the rest.

Jordy is easy to use and requires no special fitting procedures. It can easily be "tried out" and fitted during a routine eye exam so that the clinician and potential user can determine its suitability.

When not wearing Jordy on your head, Jordy can be placed in its docking stand with X-Y table and can be connected to a TV to be used as a conventional CCTV. When using Jordy as a CCTV for reading and writing, Jordy can magnify up to 60x in full color. When placing objects on the reading tray, Jordy works with continuous automatic focus and light level adjustment - all you do is turn the control knob to the magnification you need.

Jordy can be used to watch TV or to view your computer screen. When using Jordy for the computer screen or when reading a book, the reading lense must be slid into the reading position on the front of the Jordy unit. Sit comfortably in your chair or in bed to read books, magazines, write a letter, or sign checks. Other uses for the Jordy include playing cards and board games, reading music, seeing loved ones' faces and so much more!

The Jordy can be worn directly over your prescription glasses and the control box can be held in your hand or used with the belt clip provided for hands-free operation.

Another feature of the Jordy is removeable side-shields
which velcro onto the temple pieces. It provides protection from glare when using Jordy indoors or outdoors.
